Jeffco’s students deserve more than promises — they deserve action. And so do the workers who care for them every day.
JESPA members are the people who keep our schools running: we drive the buses, serve the meals, clean the buildings, support in classrooms, and calm kids in crisis. We’re also parents, neighbors, grandparents, caregivers, and former students. We know what our schools can be — and we’re organizing to get there.
We believe in a Jeffco where every student is safe, supported, healthy, and inspired to thrive. That means:
Fully staffed schools
Clean buildings and safe transportation
Nutritious, free meals with time to eat
Respect and fair pay for all workers
Support that meets every student’s needs
We’ve won real gains by organizing together — but we must continue elevating the voices of workers and families. So we’re taking the next step.
This summer, we’re holding community meetings across Jeffco with Coloradans for the Common Good.
These gatherings will help us build a people-powered platform for the upcoming school board elections — and for the future of our public schools.
